On several occasions while hiking in the morning, Susie Grace (precious dog companion) and I have been seeing this glorious New Mexico jack rabbit. I never knew ears could be so grand! I rendered this character behind a clump of blooming high desert chamisa, which is also called Rabbitbrush. Quite appropriate, don’t you think?!
