Design Judgment

A cobblestone is more real than personal relationships, but personal relationships are felt to be more profound because we expect them yet to reveal themselves in unexpected ways, while cobblestones evoke no such expectation.

Design consists largely of materials, forms and function. Design Judgment, however, is the conceptualization of the creator’s intent. To be real about it, that intent does not always suit the perspective of others.

Design is an intrinsically conscious process. I appreciate the descriptive of conscious because it is so infinitely connected to Consciousness. Spiritual knowing perceives Consciousness. In my upbringing, I learned that the indwelling of Spirit is what moves me in a particular direction as if from a directing force; that is Consciousness, Christ Consciousness.

The crux is, Will we become still enough to listen to this moving?

In addition to forms and function, Design Judgment and concept are derived from the material, as in structure, decorative applications, acoustic applications, and fenestration. The refined selection of all of these fall into the realm of our 3D existence; all vital to a tangible design. An interesting nuance of Design Judgment is integrating what I have learned to be the 5D; that is where Consciousness meets concept.

Have you ever thought beyond the Beauty and Order of creating a design to the day that break-down and destruction would happen to occur? After perceived usefulness has transpired?

Spirituality directs me to marry the tangible with the Spiritual, the concept with the future. It is only when Consciousness moves the design that preservation can be maintained. If Design Judgment is not ultimately derived from Spirit, then degradation is eminent.

Whether it be in the designing of a home, the rendering of artwork, or the preserving of a Constitutional Republic, a requisite in Design Judgment is both Concept and Consciousness. Degradation is bound to occur in the tangible. It is when we seek to maintain the outcome of a design because of its value and meaning that the Spiritual will most influence the continuation of its life.

Lack of Consciousness in maintaining the design of our Constitutional Republic has resulted in the degradation of our beautiful America, as well as the world. We are at a juncture. Will we preserve our Republic through Consciousness? Or, will we allow the low emotional intelligence of a corrupt government through its 3D manipulations to destroy a beautiful design?

Design Judgment is not about liking or not liking; it has not a whit to do with judgment. Design Judgment is the conceptualization of the creator’s intent stemming from asking and is a conscious process in that the concept moves me in a particular direction as if from a directing force. The crux is, Will I become still enough to listen to this moving?
