Kimberly B. Gray, Allied Member ASID
Kimberly B. Gray is a writer, artist and designer, an Allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers, ASID. In addition to a degree in Interior Design and minor requirements in Historic Preservation, Kimberly holds a bachelors and masters in education and business administration.
Kimberly has been passionate for residential design her whole life and made a career change from teaching business to Interior Design after a move to Ohio in 1996. She has design market experience in the areas of tile and textiles, having worked in the natural stone~ porcelain~ ceramic tile industry as well as the fine textile ~ trim ~ wallpaper ~ fine milled carpet industry. Also, Kimberly filled a sabbatical position in the Interior Design Department at Tri-C’s Eastern Campus, Cleveland, Ohio, in 2005-2006 and taught ID courses part-time until 2010.
Kimberly now resides near Santa Fe and continues freelancing and is an artist whose acrylic renderings are available through studio art tours and art shows or available by custom order.
Since 2020, Kimberly has been writing a memoir that she has titled Interior Design Mourning Design. Following is a video introduction created for a Book Proposal submitted December 15, 2024:
